Feng Shui, literally translated as “wind" and "water,” is an ancient Chinese art of design and placement that has been practiced for centuries in China. It is not a religion and can be used by people of all religious backgrounds and all walks of life.
"The winds are mild. The sun is bright.
The water is clear. The trees are lush...
Such a place has good Feng Shui!"
Feng Shui is about understanding and balancing the relationships between nature and ourselves so that we can live in harmony within our environment.
Everything in the Universe is comprised of chi, or life force, that vibrates at different frequencies. All things are permeated by this energy. To achieve balance and prosperity in our lives, these energies must be balanced and harmonious so that our environment supports us instead of going against us.
Our home is the reflection of everything we are and what is happening in our lives. By adjusting and balancing the flow of positive chi within our environment, we can powerfully and effectively improve every aspect of our lives. This influence is achieved by positioning or designing our surroundings in harmony with the principles of natural energy flow.
Feng Shui is an effective method of changing our environment to improve and influence the course of our lives. When we live in harmony within our environment, we experience well-being. We feel empowered, fulfilled and supported, while good health and prosperity are increased in our lives.
There are many different schools of Feng Shui. Although each school may have different approaches and techniques, they all aim to create a positive and harmonious environment.
The school of Feng Shui that I follow is Black Hat Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui (BTB), also referred to as Black Sect Feng Shui. This school of Feng Shui was originated in Tibet, and was further developed and introduced to the West by His Holiness Grand Master Professor Lin Yun. He is highly regarded as the leading authority on Feng Shui and Chinese philosophy.
